It's common to discover various insects in your worm farm, most of which are harmless. If you encounter a pest issue, manually remove any larger insects. To deter pests, avoid overfeeding and maintain a balanced environment with proper moisture and aeration.

To prevent rodents, elevate your worm farm off the ground and place a proper cover over this. Choose a location that's not easily accessible to rodents and avoid placing dairy, meat, or oily foods in it, as these can attract rodents.
